You can request Compensatory Benefits from Social Security if you have been on sick leave for more than 30 days in 2024, for vacation and/or Christmas subsidies.
"They are cash values that are paid to compensate for Christmas, vacation or other similar subsidies that the worker did not receive, in whole or in part, from the employer, for being unable to work due to illness or subsidized parenthood, for a period equal to or greater than 30 consecutive days," reads in a practical guide from Social Security.
