Exceptional regime allows to redeem from PPR without penalty in effect.

If you have a PPR or PPR/E, don't forget that there is currently an exceptional regime in place for subscribers to withdraw from the plan without penalty.

This regime is in force until the end of this year, as reminded by the Tax Authority (AT) in a post shared on social media.

But who is covered by the scheme? The AT specifies that those who can benefit from the redemption of values, pension savings and education plans (PPR and PPR/E) subscribed/deposited:

  1. "Until 30.09.2022 and redeemed for any purpose, up to the monthly limit of €509.26 (IAS for 2024);"
  2. "Until 31.12.2022 and redeemed for: . - Payment of installments of credit contracts secured by a mortgage on property intended for own and permanent housing; - Payment of installments of credit for the construction or improvement of properties for own and permanent housing; - Deliveries to housing cooperatives in solutions for own and permanent housing;"
  3. "Until 27.06.2023 and redeemed for the amortization of credit contracts secured by a mortgage on property intended for the participant's own and permanent housing and/or credit contracts for the construction or improvement of properties for own and permanent housing, in the name of the PPR holder with a limit of €12,222.24 (24 x IAS), as can be read on the AT Facebook page."
