Average rental cost in March stabilized.

According to data collected by Imovirtual and released by Notícias ao Minuto, the average cost of renting stabilized in March compared to February. However, the value increased by 33% compared to the same period in 2023.

The districts that saw the biggest rise in rental prices, compared to March 2023, were Beja, Setúbal, Lisbon, Faro, Évora, and Santarém.

On the other hand, the district that recorded the largest decrease in average income in March this year was Portalegre, down 28% from February (amounting to 380 euros). Next was the district of Leiria, down 6% compared to February, with the average income at 850 euros.

"In relation to the average value of properties for rent, there is an increase in the average income of +33%, being 320 euros more expensive when compared to the same period last year. Although we are observing a slight stabilization of the average values, in March there was an increase (+4%), now standing at 1,300€, compared to last month", the shared news reads.
